By now, most folks who keep up with Slo*Mo Media know that we co-produce the monthly podcast The Jamal Ahmad Project, hosted by radio veteran Jamal Ahmad. But you might not know that we also produce a weekly podcast — dubbed Mo Audio — in conjunction with the Internet radio station ABL+Radio.
The show — which shines a light on the cultural side of Atlanta and features interviews + the best of the best soul music — is hosted by Slo*Mo partners in crime DJ Larmarrous Shirley and Carlton Hargro — joined by longtime journalist Chante LaGon. Mo Audio “airs” every Wednesday on ABL+Radio.com (at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.), but in case you have yet to hear it, we’ve collected the first five episodes for your listening pleasure below.
Check them out and then be sure to check us out every Wednesday!
Jamal Ahmad’s monthly podcast returns with loads of brand-new music — and a one-on-one with storied soul singer Carmen Rodgers. (And she’s got new exclusive sounds to share!) Recorded and mixed by Daz-I-Kue. Powered by Slo*Mo Media.
Just in case you didn’t know, Slo*Mo is more than just a monthly magazine — among other ventures, we’re also in the podcast business. And our premier production is The Jamal Ahmad Project, a monthly program hosted and co-produced by Atlanta radio legend Jamal Ahmad.
On top of that, the show is recorded and mixed by music icon Daz-I-Kue.
