Jaye Newton featuring Nai Br.XX — “Hit My Line”: We’ve been waiting for Atlanta-based songstress Nai Br.XX to return to the scene with some new material, and return she has, as a featured performer on singer/rapper Jaye Newton’s catchy new tune, “Hit My Line.”
Kareen Lomax — “Hard Feelings”: At the end of April, ATL-based vocalist Kareen Lomax dropped a brand-new EP — “Hard Feelings” — that’s dripping with R&B, pop, hip-hop and other assorted flavors. Oh, and another hometown hero, Sensei Bueno, produced some choice tracks on this project. Listen up. More info: www.instagram.com/kareenlomax.
Water Seed — “Rest of My Life”: This band of ATL expats seems to be dropping a lot of music lately; this time around, they’ve slowed down the tempo for a funky, soul-filled love song. More info: www.waterseedmusic.com.
Carmen Rodgers — “No Good”: And yet another Atlanta expat, Carmen, Rodgers recently dropped a visual for her newest single, “No Good.” Give it a look, and you’ll see Rodgers hamming it up — stalker-style — in the clip, which is taken from her latest EP, “Hello Human, Vol. 1.”
